Free Indeed!

Have you ever heard, “He Who The Son Sets Free Is Free Indeed?”

In Christ Jesus we are free. Free from the law of sin and death. Free and with a path set on the way to heaven. Every one who believes in Jesus Christ, who has accepted Him as their Lord and Saviour is on the way to Heaven.

If any one of us hasn't repented of our sins we will never see the inside of the Kingdom of Heaven. As I have said before we must repent and turn our old ways.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

In coming to Christ, repenting of our sins we become a new creature, because the old has passed away. We are renewed, reborn in giving our lives to Christ, or as the world has heard and doesn't understand we are “Born Again Christians”. We give up our sinful ways and walk as Christ did. There is not one of us who is sinless, not one of us can get to heaven on our own accord, because we are all slaves to sin.

Romans 3:9-10

What then?  Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin;   as it is written,

 “There is none righteous, not even one;

All of us were under sin, if you haven't accepted Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour you are under sin. Jesus told us that we are slaves to sin and it is Jesus who told us that any one that He sets free is free indeed. There is victory and freedom in the Blood of Christ, we all need to be washed clean so that we may leave the prison that sin keeps us in and walk free in Jesus Name.

John 8:34-36

Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.   The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever.   So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

Everyone of us has committed sin, there isn't one of us who hasn't. We were slaves to sin. Jesus came to give us life, abundant and free. In coming to Christ and turning our life over to Him we are set free from sin and death.

Romans 8:1-8

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.   For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.   For what the Law could not do,  weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,   so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.   For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.    For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,   because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so,   and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

For the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. He who the Son sets free my friend is Free indeed. There is no condemnation for those in Christ.

But that is the choice that everyone must make, to accept Christ and be set free, or to turn your back on Christ, stay enslaved to sin. Freedom in Christ leads to the narrow path, enslaved to sin leaves you on the broad path.

If we still keep our mind set on the ways of the world we are on the broad path that leads to destruction, our mind is set on things of the flesh. Fleshly living is living a non-Christ like life. If your not sure ask yourself, “What would Jesus do?”

Jesus wouldn't lie, steal, cheat, or be full of lust. Jesus wouldn't allow some one to suffer in loneliness when there is always time to spend with them. Jesus wouldn't ignore a person in need. Jesus wouldn't take advantage of others.

So the choice is yours, turn your eyes upon Jesus look full in His wonderful face and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace. Look to Jesus, turn to Jesus, give your live to Jesus.

Jesus told us that many will not chose Him, and they will live a life that leads to destruction. Those of us who do come to him will walk the narrow path, the path that leads to life and life eternal.

Matthew 7:13-14

“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.   For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Few will find the way. You have a choice, just as I had a choice. I chose to follow Christ and live in His ways. That doesn't mean I am perfect, there has only ever been One Perfect Human, and those of us imperfect humans crucified Him.

He is the one who offers us freedom and eternal life. What will you do? Will you choose life?

1 Peter 3:18

For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

He died for our sins, once for all! All we need to do is accept Him turn from our old ways and allow Jesus to show us the way.

Friends if you haven't repented of your sins you'll never see the inside of the Kingdom of Heaven

What will you do, what have you done? Give your life to Christ, be set free.

Again if you know Christ that is awesome, can I suggest that your share Him with others who don't know Him.

If you need to rededicate yourself, or if you want to give your life to Christ say this following prayer.

Dear God, my Father in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honour to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus mighty Name AMEN.

Friend choose life choose freedom, because He who the Son sets Free is Free Indeed!
